Car loss acceleration power. Last time I drove the car it would not accelerate above twenty mph and the engine cut off and would not start until it cooled down. Car turns off when engine gets warm. I smell what smells like burning plastic from underneath the steering wheel. I have multiple codes, o2 sensor, 2 and third gear shift solenoid, crank and camshaft position sensors. I did change the crankshaft position sensor and there was a dent on the sensor I removed. I believe the loss of power may be due to a clogged converter. Any help in diagnosing the issue will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Cover tailpipe with a wet cloth to see if engine stalls out.

Okay, I am going to give that a try tomorrow because I have to Jump start it. I think the battery has gone out on me. The car has been sitting for about five months.

I would start with dropping the column covers and inspecting for any shorts in the ignition harness.
