What is the big vent on the driver's side cargo area?

no problem, just want to know what the big vent is in my van's cargo area on the drivers side, I know the right side houses the fuel pump rest switch. What is the right side vent. also how is the rear door speakers wired, the doors slide so how are they wired to the radio?

Can you get a picture of the vent that you are talking about and we will know for sure but more than likely that is the air intake for the rear HVAC system. I attached the drawing below of what I suspect you are referring too. Let me know if it is something different.

As for the wiring that goes into the sliding door, it uses a harness that will actually move slightly in a rolling fashion as you move the door. Take a look at the second picture and you will see how it bends and this is what moves as the door moves.
