car will not start after a high rpm rev

So my dad said "let me hear it" so I stepped on the gas and revved my car to about 5000 rpm's once I hit 5000 rpm's my car immediately died. I checked for fuel pressure and it should still have spark. Would it more likely be the crank sensor or that it jumped timing. It very recently 2,000 miles ago had the heads rebuilt, new timing belt, tensioner, water pump, and serpentine belt, as well as new wires and plugs. I did not over rev and the car did not sputter or make and obvious noises no smoke. It just died. Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.
