car will not start

Hi,

First, please understand this vehicle isn't offered in the US, so my technical information is very limited. But I will try my best to help.

First, is the starter engaging when you try starting it? Have you checked to make sure the battery terminals are clean and tight?

Let me know specifically what is happening. As far as the radio, unless the battery is completely dead, that is a different story. That sounds more fuse related. I realize you checked the fuses, but did you check for power to the fuse itself? Also, a fuse can look good and still be blown. The best thing to do is check for power to both sides of the fuse.

I had a mobile technician come by. Turns out it was the battery the whole time, stupid me. Upon testing it turns out it was a faulty battery and one of the cells were dead. Luckily it was still under warranty. That would explain why everything died with me having the vehicle on acc for such a short period of time. Anyway, luckily the battery was still under warranty so it was replaced for free. Too bad I had to spend over 100 bucks to have someone jump start the it when we could have had a friend around the corner come do it for nothing. Anywho, thanks for your info and time. I hope if nothing else you got a good chuckle from it all.

Glad to hear you got it fixed. I have to be honest, you are the third person tonight that had a battery with a dead cell. So, don't feel stupid. It seems to be becoming a common problem. Maybe there are a group of them that were manufactured incorrectly.
