Car will not start

I'm charging my battery and I reassembled the ignition. there were no broken wires but the hollowed out the cylinder. My key still can turn it because of the notch in the back of the cylinder. Security light is flashing. My fob still locks and unlocks the doors though. Once the battery is ready, I'm going to reset the anti theft system.

Here's a pic of it after I reassembled it. When I open the door, the green light goes on for a few seconds. So, it's still working! Keep your fingers crossed!

I'm so sorry Sevag, I forgot to get back to you. Yesterday, after I charged the battery and reassembled the ignition, I put the key in the cylinder and turned it, and it started right up! I'm so thrilled! Thank you so much for your help. I appreciate your patience, and will tell all my ladies about 2carpros.com. you rock SEVAG!
