Car will not reverse or go over 30 MPH?

Car shifts into all gears fine when using the shifter, but when in reverse there's no power so car cannot reverse. When car is in drive overdrive two or one car will drive up to about 30 MPH before hitting high RPMs and refuses to shift.

Hi,

Have you checked the transmission fluid level and condition? If you haven't, start by checking.

Remember, when checking the fluid level, the engine needs to be at operating temperature, the vehicle in park, and sitting on a level surface.

Transmission fluid is fine the level is in the middle of the two arrows still a good color does not smell burnt.

Hi,

The next thing I would check is transmission line pressure. This requires connecting a transmission pressure gauge and inspecting the pressure under specific conditions.

If you look below, I attached the procedure. Take a look through it and let me know if it is something you are comfortable performing.
