Car will not go after radiator hose broke

My radiator hose busted. I replaced it now the car will not drive in reverse or first and it shakes.

Hello,

Did your vehicle overheat when it the radiator hose broke? A radiator hose being busted would not keep a vehicle from going or going in reverse. If a vehicle is overheated usually what happens is the aluminum head, which has a lower melting point than the iron block warps and this cylinder head warpage causes the head gasket[s] to fail. A good a quick way to tell if this has happened is to do a compression test on your vehicle's engine. Here is a link below describing how to do this:
