Okay, so Friday I put $20.00 about fifteen gallons drove around town then headed home about thirty miles total with no problem. Saturday morning cranked car started to leave my drive way and noticed something was not right was jerking when accelerated so put in park car would not rev past 2000 rpm's, so I figured MAF sensor or TPS. I replaced both still same problem. Car will idle fine just wont rev past 2000 rpm's so I let it idle for about twenty minutes and tried again car would not rev it choked and died so it seems after car is warm has more problems revving . Replaced fuel filter same problem left line off out side of filter gas is pumping out fine when turning key over so thought maybe got bad gas some how added fuel stabilizer did not help. Took off due line at fuel rail got gas all the way there .took out fuel regulator and noticed on the fuel rail gas started bubbling up for about thirty seconds is that normal? Any ideas wont could be causing this?

I would have it scanned for both hard and soft codes. If you mean that fuel bubbled out with the engine not running, yes, residual pressure can do that.

It sounds like you may have a plugged cat converter, please disconnect the head pipe from the exhaust manifold and see if the problem is better, it will be a little loud which is normal.

Please let me know

Thank you Ken. You know that's been in that back of my mind the whole time that the cat may be plugged just didnt seem like it wouldn't be as the car was driving perfect the day before. But the more i think about it if the cat/cats I think there's 2 on my car but if they plugged I wonder if it would have built up enough pressure to blow the gasket on the egr? But tomorrow I'm replacing the egr but I will definitely check that and see its just a pain in the ass to work on this car because there is absolutely no room to work but will let you guys know how it goes.

One more question do you know what temp the cat should be running . I have a scan tool and was watching live data and cat temp was at about 2100 degrees Fahrenheit

Ok so sure enough exhaust was plugged so what I think happened as far as the egr gasket is the exhaust built up enough pressure that it blow the egr valve and was pushing the exhaust out there. Dont know how this happened overnight but glad I got it fixed thanks for the help .

What happens is a part of the catalytic converter breaks off and plugs the exhaust, Here is an example
