Car will not move when transmission is shifted into any gear

There are a number of things that can cause this but we need to start with checking the fluid and making sure it is full and clean.

If there is an issue then we need to service the unit. We need to inspect for metal or clutch material in the fluid.

If all this checks out then we may have a shifter issue but I suspect we have internal transmission issues as that is the most common cause of this.
