Intermittent not starting

Car will start sporadically. Will run fine will put it back in garage and go to start it and will not fire the next time.

It's getting no spark to the plug wires. any suggestions on what could be causing this issue.

Good afternoon,

I would start by replacing the points and condenser in the distributor. You may have a bad condenser not allowing spark. Most parts stores still carry these parts, and they are cheap.

I attached a picture of the distributor with the pieces you need. The point gap is .018 on the high point of the cam.
