No codes at diagnostic check. No engine light on etc. Vehicle has been driving a bit rough (slightly bumpy as slow speeds) no shaking though. Can’t feel it on the steering wheel or pedals. Car jerks when decelerating at about 25 mph. Car feels strained when accelerating Between 20-45 mph. Car revs high at morning start up (1,500-2,000 rpm's) but idles fine throughout the day. Any suggestions?

Hi Katie:

What you described could be several things. Is this something that just started? Is there anything you can think of that changes the issue? Also, you said when it's cold the engine revs high. Do you mean in park or neutral or does it happen when in gear?

If you could, let me know if things are serviced on a regular basis. For example, has the air filter been replaced.

Let me know.
