Car take time in starting with gas smell

I got a problem
My car take time to start and i notice gas smell while starting
Mostly the engine crank 5 second to start
At the same time fuel smell is there

It nissan maxima 2000 3.0 l

There's a fuel leak causing the pressure to bleed down. That pressure has to build back up during cranking before the engine will start. The places to look for wetness include around each injector, the rubber fuel hose between the engine and body, and the steel lines under the car.
