Car stuck on gear 4

Please can you tell me or show me to to fix these fault code on my car: 01315 Transmission control module no signal, 00281 driving speed sensor no signal,01316 code brake control module no communication.

Assuming these are all related, you have a wiring issue. However, there is a chance that they are separate issues so I would start with the 00281 and fix that issue and then retest. Hopefully I am correct and if you fix that one, it will fix the others.

The problem is, VW doesn't give a lot of DIY diagnosis. They require a scan tool for these issues because they are involving communication between the modules.

I would suggest pulling apart the connector on the transmission and seeing if there is water damage inside of it. If there is, that will need to be corrected and is the most likely cause of all of this.
