Car still moves even after putting the transmission in Park?

Hi Ken.

Please may I have the mechanical diagram of the lock which is supposed to prevent the car from moving after putting it in Park?

I have attached an image below describing the fault. Please I need a diagram on how to fix this.

Does the shifter cable move the shift control arm into park completely? If so the parking pawl has broken and the transmission will need to be taken apart and repaired.
