Welcome back to 2CarPros. I know of no video like that because every vehicle is different in the places you can run extra wiring as well as the item your installing may need to be routed differently depending on what it is. Say you are running a trailer harness, it would take a different route than a roof mounted antenna. It also depends on the actual wiring, sometimes you can just slip it under the edge of a panel.
Normally you would determine where you want to route the wiring based upon how long the harness is, where you are mounting the various parts and then which direction is the easiest to run the wires. As for the battery, usually you would disconnect the negative terminal. However it depends on the way the accessory is powered, many back up cameras use a signal from the back up lights to turn on, for that you need to know where to connect into that system, if they use a power tap near the camera or in the front.
These are just a few of the reasons we don't have a video on this. You might be able to search YouTube or even the companies website to see what they show but it likely won't be vehicle specific.
