car starts and idles

I changed the cps I have fuel but when I can get the car to start it will idle but if I rev the engine it cuts out & dies at 4000 rpms. Could this be throttle position sensor? If so where is it located?

Maybe it has a rev limiter?

My problem was similar, the engine would die when going into passing gear, we finally found that it had an injector going bad. Other symptoms included needing to wait to start again to cool after you shut it off. Fixing the bad injector fixed all those problems. been running fine for 2 years since.
