Will not start when warm?

Hi,

Based on your description, it sounds like the crankshaft position sensor may be going bad. When they start to fail, heat has an adverse effect on them causing a loss of ignition spark. Once they cool off, they work again.

Do this first: Take a look through this link and let me know if it seems to mirror what you are experiencing.

Now, when it won't restart, see if the tachometer moves at all when cranking. Or, if you have a live data scan tool, see if there is an RPM signal when cranking. If there isn't or the tachometer doesn't move, chances are the sensor is bad.
