I have replaced the TPS , idle control sensor and adjusted the throttle cable , but still will stall after accelerating from a complete stop. Only after revving the vehicle up in neutral then dumping it into drive will you get it to move . It will extend the shift and won't shift until you drop it in neutral let the rpm come down, then back to drive, same for the next gear, but no other gears available after that. top speed 50-55 with high rpm. What is going on here? I'm just about had it with it. Thanks, Bob. Seattle Washington

Hello,

It sounds like the car is going into limp mode due to a dirty throttle plate but to be sure lets run the codes first and then check out the limp mode repair guide below it.
