car shuts off sometimes while driving

my 2001 monte carlo shuts off sometimes while i'm driving or turning a corner. when I try to keep it from shutting off it starts to pop a little. I have already replaced the fuel pump and its still doing the problem. what could it be

scan for codes and check fuelpressure with a gauge first. when you replaced the pump was the sock replaced? scan for codes as well it may be an engine thing.

I had the same thing happen on a blazer I had. It turned out to be a bad computer
