AC/gauges/wiper/cruise control not working

Hi,

There are fuses under the hood which power to the ignition switch and then to the instrument panel fuse box. I need you to recheck the ignition B fuse under the hood. See the attached schematics which show power flow and location of the fuses. If there is no power to the inside fuse box, either one if these fuses is bad, there is an open circuit, or the ignition switch is bad.

Check this and let me know what you find.

hello,

i changed the fuse even though it was not broken and gauges went back to normal.
but still the A/C not working! i checked all the fuses up and down nothing appears to be wrong?

yes dear there is power in all the fuses ,the rear A/C is working but not the front one .

if the blower motor isn't working, here are the diagnostics for testing for the problem. The attached pics correlate with the directions.

The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.
2. This step tests for blower motor operation in any speed setting.
3. This step tests for voltage at the blower motor.
4. This step tests for a possible open in the blower motor resistor assembly ground circuit.
5. This step tests for output voltage from the blower motor switch.

Hi Joe , hope my email finds you well .
our last conversation about the A/C fan blower worked, the blower is jammed after i tested the fuse and the wiring.
but once i replaced the blower the gauges fused (which changed earlier, the image) fried.
i changed it again from 40amp to 50amp also fried i replaced it with 60amp ( i need that A/C it's little hot around here) still hanging there from yesterday .but i`m afraid it will effect something else.

Hi,

Please don't increase amperage. It can lead to a fire or other damage. Stick with the 40 amp.

Does the fuse blow as soon as you turn the key to the on position? If it does, remove fuse 12 in the under dash fuse box. We need to determine where there is a short. By removing this fuse, we eliminate the heater/ac circuit. If it doesn't blow, then we need to check between fuse 12 and the unit.
