The key is stuck in the ignition?

Okay, so, my key got stuck in ignition, and the car won’t come on at all I took the old battery out and took it to AutoZone. They said the battery was no good. I then bought a new battery to put in, but the car still wouldn’t give any power from inside, and the key was still stuck. Any solutions on what might be the problem?

I would make sure the battery cables are free from corrosion, this guide can help:

Next, I would see if all electrical is out or just particular systems which means one of the maxi fuses has popped. Please use this guide to check for power and I have included the fuse panel location and the fuses to check in the images below.

There is a chance the gear shifter is not all the way in park which can cause this issue as well, does it feel like the shifter goes all the way into park? Can you upload a short video of the problem so I can see? Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
