Just added some let you know how she runs.

Could there possibly be a leak? Or does coolant get low? Had the car for about 8,000 miles.

If you are having to add coolant to the cooling system, then it is going somewhere. Worst case scenario, if it is being burnt in the combustion chambers of your engine there would be white, sweet smelling smoke coming out of the exhaust. If this is not present then we can rule that out. Next, visually inspect the cooling system hose for a loose clamp or a cut. Check the upper and lower radiator hoses, both heater hoses, and the hose going to the overflow tank. Also look for a "washed' spot where a leak is happening and leaving a spot washed clean of dirt, oil, etc.. Lastly check the radiator cap. They are designed with a spring to allow coolant to leak past when it reaches a certain pressure. Please get back to us with what you can find from your visual inspection and we can go from there.

No white smoke coming from exhaust, will check the hoses later on today, any tips on how to check for a bad hose?

Look for frayed and cracked ends, cuts, hose clamps that has failed or failing, and look for bulging, spongey radiator hoses, both upper and lower. Please get back to us with what you find out. We can go from there.
