My car overheated going down the interstate. the temperature gauge has always worked, but it did not go up when It got hot. I heard a real faint knocking or ticking, it started getting real loud so I pulled over and shut car off, when I raised the hood I noticed there was no coolant in the overflow reservoir. so I filled it with coolant, then tried to start, it would not start. I got to looking and noticed when I was trying to start there was now a pretty good coolant leak where the radiator hose goes into the engine. it looks like it is leaking around one of the bolts. is there a way to seal this up without taking all the way apart, and would that be what is causing it not to start now?
