Crank no start, when attempting to start the car the check engine and battery lights are not turning on?

My car check engine and battery light not turning on when i switch on the ignition and when i tried to start the car the engine turned over, but the car doesn't start up?

It sounds like the battery is dead, do any lights turn on like the dome light? If not, the battery is the first thing, I would check this guide it can show you how:
