Car not moving but comes on

Can be a number of things, you should go get a scan done to see if there are any fault codes set, does the engine start with throttle down? do you have any fault lights showing?

It's a hybrid camry and does not throttle down. Once you start the car there is a cracking sound, i live in Nigeria and most car mechanics are not used to the car, one told me it's the inverter. Can you please explain to me when an inverter is bad. Thanks

If you press the throttle to the floor when you press the starter it should start in petrol engine mode, dose it do this?

It does not start even when throttled down.when you start it, it will come up with a cracking noise then goes off, even when started, it does not move and it goes silent and when throttled it does not move.

Have you had a scan done for any set fault codes, not all codes will set a check light,
