On the way home going 70 mph down an interstate. I could not start it again using the clutch. I have replaced the alternator, coil pack, and fuel pump. I have had the starter and the battery tested and both tested good. I am at a loss at what to look at next on this car.

Hello,

What happens when you try to start the vehicle? Does the engine crank and just not start, does it sound like a machine gun going off? Does it click? Or does it do nothing at all? Please get back to us and we will go from there.

Thanks,
Alex

Hello again,

Okay, this could be a problem with your vehicle's Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKP). It makes pulse signals from reading a wheel on your vehicle's crankshaft and sends this information to your vehicle's Power-train Control Module (PCM), which in turn, uses this information for turning on your vehicle's fuel injectors and spark plugs. Without the signal from the CKP your engine will not run. In the diagrams down below I have included your vehicle's CKP operation explanation and location. Please go through these guides and get back to us with what you are able to find out.

Thanks,
Alex

Okay, I have now replaced the crankshaft sensor and the fuel pressure regulator and it is still not starting. Also have replaced battery along with plugs and wires. Really at a loss at this point. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
