Car battery jump?

get the alternator checked, the voltage regulator inside may be going bad, or you have a short somewhere. Most auto stores can check the alternator, battery, and starter.

A week ago, I was at the park playing radio with car off can that make battery weak I have to jump to get started.

check the battery, it might have a weak cell, the battery would charge up, but the cell draws voltage if there is a bad cell in the battery. I have found that even some new batteries have weak cells.

No progress. I noticed a rotten egg smell; can that be the battery?

I don't know about the rotten egg smell but am thinking it is the acid in the battery making that smell, keep away from the liquid from the battery. It can burn you... In order to have the radio on do you need the ignition on to play the radio?

Thanks. I don't have the radio on since starting problems. I do think it's the battery. I will take it to AutoZone tomorrow.
