Every time i accelerate my car lags then it goes. i think it might be something to do with the carburetor but I don't know . it lags then goes.

Car hesitates before accelerating

Hi JP,
Couple things. This could be a carb issue as it sounds like your accelerator valve in the carb is hanging up. However, if you have not checked the timing then I would start there. I included a video on how to do that.
Also, there are a couple other videos that I attached (none that directly address this issue) so that they can show some other common issues that are found that could cause your issue. Including the vacuum lines and the mount being deteriorated.
If you have checked all this, let me know and we can go from there, but normally when you go into fix one issue on these, you find a whole bunch of other issues that need to be corrected.
