Car engine cranks, but will not stay running

My car engine cranks and only stays started when continuously given gas. Once I take my foot off the gas, the engine just shuts off. I have replaced and checked the spark plugs for a spark and they all produced a spark of some sort. The old plugs were blackened.
I have replaced the fuel injectors and checked the fuel pump. There is fuel making it to the injector rail.
There was a lot of oil in the spark plug wells, but i cleaned out most/all of it before removing the plugs. I have fixed that leak.
When the car is kept started, there are misfires.
Anyways, what should I try to get my car running again?

You can get the car scanned for any fault codes. also, check for vacuum leaks and get a compression teat done. the scan may be the best place to start as if there is a code set. this will have to be rectified before anything else is looked at.

This is applicable even if your check engine light is not on.

Most scanners are inexpensive to purchase, you can purchase one online from sites like Amazon.com

My car is a 94. An OBD2 scanner cannot be hooked up to it.

you will have to get a generic BMW scanner to read the codes, check vacuum leaks as this will be a primary concern and also test the coolant temp sensor as well.
