My 1999 Aurora will die out when sitting at idle speed at a ligtht, etc. Sometimes it will rev up from to 2 or 3 thousand rpms, then quickly die down and then shut off. I have cleaned the throttle intake extensively and replaced the two sensors on the side of the throttle bottle. This past week I cleaned the throttle intake again, checked the air filter and left a sensor that was plugged into the air filter unplugged. Car ran great for three or four days, idled smoothly, no dying out. I was so happy. Then yesterday it all started again. Dying out, reviving up, hard to start. The check engine light has also been on since I checked and cleaned the air filter - is this because I left the sensor that connects the air filter storage unplugged?
