Engine shut off while driving

It sounds like the battery shorted out inside, try turning the headlights on, if dim or out replace the battery with a new unit. here is a guide to help walk you through the steps and diagrams and instructions below to show you how on your car. When a battery goes bad like that a jump will not help it.

Try to get an AC Delco replacement battery. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.

I replaced the battery yesterday, it cranks over fine but it won't start. I plugged in a code reader it doesn't have any codes.

Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so we can hear the noise the engine makes while cranking over? that would be great. You can upload it here with your response. Also let's check for spark. here is a guide:

Also, with the ignition key on without cranking the engine over can you hear the fuel pump in the tank run for five seconds?

I have the same issue on a 2009 Chevrolet Traverse, stalled out while driving, installed a new starter, crankshaft sensor, and switch module, I also checked relays, fuses and grounds, but starter just spinning no crank or start.
