Car just shuts off when I put it in gear or if it idles for a few minutes. Just looking for a list of possible problems to know where to look.

Good morning.
Some possibilities:
1. Dirty throttle body.
2. Idle air control not working correctly.
3. Base idle needs to be set.
4. Fuel pressure too low.
5. Mass air flow sensor.
