Car shuts off after running for a few minutes and right before the car shuts off it starts running rough then shuts down.

Hi,
This could be the result of a few things. When it stalls, does it start right back up for you? If not, we either have a fuel-related or ignition-related issue.
If you need to wait for it to restart, see if it will start using starting fluid. If it does and then stalls, we know there is a fuel issue. If there is no change, then we likely have an ignition issue. At this point, we need to check for spark at the plugs.

Let me know if this is what happens or if it restarts immediately. Also, let me know if the check engine light is staying on while the engine runs.
