Car cranks but unable to start

Car overheated and so i changed the head gasket i realised water had mix with the oil in the head, timing in place but my car fails to start. Am very worried n need sm help on how to about the situation

Did you send the heads out to a machine shop to be inspected and pressure tested?

No, dispersed the parts to replace the gasket and resurfaced it with timing in place. Though there is a cranks the car doesn't start.

That pretty much means you'll be doing the job over. The head needs to be tested and at the very least, planed to true the surface.

I realised that the valves are leaking, so i have decided to grind them with a paste b4 i fix the head. Could the valve leakage a the reason why it not starting? Also i mixed the valve covers at the machine shop can that cause any harm? The man @ the machine shop said the head is ok.

dual over head cam right? there is a tsb for the timing chain that connects the two cams together.... how did u install that chain??? and your certain your timing belt marks are correct?
