Good evening, my car alternator is overcharging. Do you know what can cause this to happen?Thank you in advance.

This is caused by the voltage regulator failing. When they do they either stop charging or over charge. It will need to be replaced.

The voltage regulator is inside the alternator and is not serviceable. You have to change the whole alternator.
