Transmission does not shift into park

I can not get the transmission into park. Goes through all the other gears perfectly fine, but when I try to put into park, it feels like something is in the way. Took off the center console and don't see anything obvious. Also checked the horn/stop fuse. Where do I check now?

What I would do at this point is remove the shift linkage and adjust it properly as I suspect the linkage is out of adjustment. If this is not the case and the shifter will not go to park even with the cable off, then it needs to be replaced.
