cannot remove key from ignition

My car has been sitting for a few months. Last week started and drove it to get gas. Today it would not start (instrument panel lights lit) no crank while I was starting it. We had to push it out to park on street. Car was in (N), very hard to turn steering wheel when car started to move faster i had to slam brake real hard while turning the steer wheel. Pushing car forward and backward we finally got it parked. Put car in (P) key would not release out of ignition. Will not even shift out of "park". Key in ignition turns to all positions except (off) position
Car issues:
-No start with jump.
-Key in ignition will not release, while in (P).
-Will not shift out of park.
WHhat I have tried:
Charging battery (currently).

please can you help me solve my car issues?
