Cannot identify a part need fixed

2009 CHEVROLET EQUINOX

I had a friend change my tension pulley and serpentine belt and it the process they broke something to do with the EVAP system. I do not know what it is called and the people at AutoZone do not know either. Any help would be appreciated.

I forgot to mention it is located between the passenger strut housing and alternator.

Roy there is another hose, it is next to the housing for the strut.

Okay, yes it is for the EVAP system. It is connected to the throttle body.

is the bracket that is broken holding it secure?

No just the plastic piece, it broke off in the tube.

Okay, you will need to replace it. that is something you will need to get a dealer parts department. take the picture with you when you go for the part.
