The driver's window suddenly stopped operating, as if it had no power at all?

All the other functions and windows operate normally from the driver's side. I eliminated the regular motor and the wiring as being the problem--I even replaced that part of the wire harness in case it was a wire problem I wasn't able to detect somehow, and with the new wiring, the problem was unchanged.

Nothing else occurs to me that it could be, and my next move was simply to replace the control switch and see if that does it. I'm at a loss. Thanks for any suggestions.
