Knocking noise on cold starts

This video explains my problem. I've done research and found where people say it is the timing tensioner and timing gaskets?
On cold starts only it will do this knocking? for a second or two then runs perfectly fine until next cold start. It has a mild oil pan gasket leak but I make sure to keep oil in it. Does anyone have and ideas?

That sounds just like a timing chain rattle. Which means the tensioner is most likely weak. So when you start the engine it rattles and then the slack is taken out.

I attached the process for replacement so you can review it. It is very extensive so I wanted you to see it before proceeding.

I found a mechanic willing to take on this job for $500.00 labor I just wanted to make sure that's what it was. Thank you so much. In your best opinion is it okay to drive it this way for a little bit or should I full on park it?

It is okay to drive for a little while. However, you want to start to limit it when it gets worse. So basically when it rattles longer then just the couple seconds you will want to get it taken care of.
