Hi, I need help trying to get into my car listed above tdi1.9. The battery is flat so central locking will not work but there is nowhere to put the key. I have found videos saying to pop the cap next to the door handle but after leveraging at this with a screwdriver (it was flush with no hole) there is only solid metal there. Have you any idea how I can get into my car?

You could try jacking up the vehicle and placing a jack stand under the frame on the side where the starter is located and hooking up a battery charger to the starter positive battery cable and ground in order to charge the battery.

Unfortunately you can’t access the starter from the bottom.
I’m a little confused here, your car is locked but the battery is dead.. your car has a lock cylinder on the drivers door. If there’s a plastic cap covering it, all you have to do is hold the handle open a few inches, place the key shank in the bottom of the key cover (there’s a small slit on the bottom to fit your key) and gently pry the cap off.
