While going down the road in my 99 Firebird I will go from a lower RPM range to a higher one and the engine misses....I've replaced plugs and wires in the last month...I put iridium plugs in it...I have upgraded the coils to a higher heat range...I was wondering if the BCM could be getting flaky and occasionally activating the security system for a split second and then turn it off

try putting the old coils back on and see if that changes anything.
