Okay, so obd2 is a generic function, and the obd2 code p1340 is cam b, but if you look up the code by the manufacturer p1340 is a cylinder#4 misfire code. You can read this at the bottom of the 2nd picture. You'll also see that the manufacturers code for cam issues is p0341 to p0343. So how does the car run? Does the engine feel a little shaky? That might actually be a #4 misfire and not a cam sensor issue. Is this car a Peugeot here in the states? The information I'm finding is relating to Citroen and Peugeot. Can you give me anymore information on the car? Like engine size or engine model number?

The motor fits Citroen, Peugeot, and mini cooper cars. The engine Infos are 1.6 VTi 120 (88KW/ 120 PS) from 07.2008 to 08.2013. Motor code is 5FW(EP6) but I'm not sure if this one is correct, because I got it from the Amazon website, when I searched for an engine spare parts.
I have tried to clear the code and to drive on an empty street. I drove at 120 KMH for a while. Everything was okay. Then I tried to decrease the speed and switched to the 3rd gear. As I have done that. The engine sound has changed and engine failure showed up on the cars LCD screen at this stage. And after that, as I tried to lower the gear. the noise became louder until i stopped. I tried to take off again, the engine became shaky. I stopped again. It took a while until the engine fan stopped although the motor temperature was about 80 the whole time.

Is this VIN number correct VF7UA5FHCAJ609859? Im having a hard time reading it from that picture. The thing with a cam sensor code is it can be set by the crank sensor by mistake in some cases, because theyre supposed to be in sync with each other for valve timing etc. But im still searching for this car, thats why i wanted to verify the VIN number. And are you getting any different codes now? "Edit" This is some more info I found on Citroen C4 diagnostic codes, you may want to start by checking cylinder #4. A misfire will cause the car to shake like the way youre describing. OBD 2 is only a generic system and isnt always 100% correct on codes. Rescan and see what you come up with.

Yes sir, the VIN is correct. I will try tomorrow to scan it again and I will let you know what will show up.
I wanna also try to check the injectors ,but I have no idea how to get those out. If you could help me with the engine plan, I would appreciate it.

Checking the injectors can be tricky, does your injector set up look like this? Some vehicles have a direct injector system, where the injector actually sprays directly into the cylinder versus into the intake manifold. Direct injection is a bit more complicated. By looking at your picture, the exhaust manifold is in the front and the intake manifold is in the back, that's where the injectors will be if its multi-port injection system (MPI). If you own a multi-meter you can check the resistance of each injector. The other test I do is hook up a fuel pressure gauge and pulse the injectors for a certain amount of time, like 50 milliseconds and watch how much the fuel pressure drops on each one, this tells me which injectors are flowing okay and which ones are getting clogged up. These tests take time to learn and can be a bit complicated. But we'll do the best we can. According to this chart, you have an EP6 engine and its MPI.
