Hi there, I figured out the answer and the solution to my issue.
To clarify: I received the error codes P0021 and P000C.
I was talking about the intake camshaft position sensor, It needed to be replaced and I was told there were 4 intake camshaft position sensors, but we found only 2. We replaced the one that is on top, near the front, on the driver's side of the engine, and my car worked again.

Hi,
I'm not sure if you have a 4 or 6 cylinder, but the most common is the 4 cylinder. In that case, you do have a total of 4 sensors. Two of the sensors are for the intake cams (one on each side) and the other two are for the exhaust cams (1 on each side).
I will also tell you that normally they don't fail. Instead, there is a small plunger that sticks due to infrequent oil changes. In most cases, which can be cleaned and functional in no time.
Let me know if this helps or if you have additional questions.
