The camshaft sensors are sort of hidden underneath the intake manifold on the top of the valve covers at the flywheel end of the engine on the side opposite the oil filter housing. Each one actually monitors both camshafts in the respective cylinder head. Bank one is the right hand bank with cylinders 1,3, and 5 in it. (also the passenger side in that car) That one can be removed without needing to remove the intake manifold. You unplug the connector and loosen the bolt then gently pull up on the sensor, be careful that you don't damage the seal it goes into. Reverse the process to install the replacement, tighten the bolt to 80 inch pounds (or just snug) Then you need to do a cam crank relearn.
What code(s) do you have? Cam - crank correlation codes on that engine are commonly signs that the timing chains are worn. Circuit codes are commonly corroded connectors.
