Camshaft position sensor?

Hi,

Is the code still present? Also, what was the code so I can look further into possible causes of it and what we should check.

The idea that you hear knocking has me concerned. Is there any indication that there could be an oil pressure concern? Are there any strange odors or smoke from the exhaust when this happens? I'm questioning a couple of different things but need the code you have. Also, if the timing chains have ever been changed.

One other question. Which V8 do you have?
