I removed the belt before i lined up the alignment marks on the crankshaft and camshafts. I now have them lined up in the correct position, with the belt off. I need to know how to make sure everything is aligned and that the pistons are in the correct position. Im not sure if by turning the camshafts are raising and lowering each individual piston and i should keep turning until the proper ones are where the need to be. Does this make sense?

The cams open and close the valves not move the pistons the crankshaft moves the pistons.if you have all the timing marks aligned then your good to go.
