Cam sticker thrust bearing?

Good afternoon,

Doing a 302/347 build and in your 11 series YouTube video you installed a thrust bearing behind the cam sprocket, and although I have a different cam, I have the same timing chain but do not have that bearing? Can you identify it and or know why I might obtain one?? Thanks!
