Okay, thank you. one last question so since I'm going to start on a new short block in what position do i place the crankshaft keyway to start doing the timing? is there a procedure for that or do i start at 3:30?

You want to keep the keyway at 3:30 after you remove the chain and when you install the chain.

I have a 2020 Ford f150, with skipped timing. How do I re-install the timing in the correct way, I see you have the steps here but what position does the crankshaft have to be in to begin the process. Would this procedure still apply if my timing is already messed up? What position does the camshafts have to be in the neutral position, also the crankshaft?
