2004 Cadillac XLR

You should have a mechanical key shaft. Under the access panel in the rear bumper fascia is a lock cylinder to open the trunk lid. Under a panel on the driver side of the trunk is a door release lever, that should get you in the car. If you don't have a mechanical key, you can still get into it. I have on one occasion ran into a problem where the trunk emergency open function was inoperative. I was able to jump power to the vehicle at the rear of the alternator. It can be accessed through the left front wheelhouse.
